Inside the Agency

The agency’s various services work closely together. The integrated approach involving photographers, laboratory staff, researchers, sales personnel and sales administration department is the key to the Photo Agency's success. It ensures the technical and scientific quality of its images, and offers a truly high quality service to the agency’s customers.

Photography

The agency’s photographers visit Parisian and regional museums on a daily basis. They take over 20,000 shots in situ each year, each being validated by the museum curators. The images are produced in very high definition digital format, because one thing is absolutely essential: they must resemble the original works as closely as possible.

Digital laboratory

The laboratory digitizes over 15,000 analogue images each year. These digitization operations, carried out in very high definition, require colorimetric restoration in almost 60% of all cases.

Quality control

In charge of the production control process, the quality control team guarantees that all files are standardized and true to the original works of art.

Documentation

Maintaining permanent contact with the museums, our researchers organize shooting campaigns, label and index the images, carry out thematic research and deliver up to 100,000 images per year.

Commercial team

Divided up into thematic teams, the commercial department knows all about the specific conditions of use for pictures in each area, and can thus provide customers with practical advice adapted to suit each individual situation.

The agency works with over 16,000 active customers: French and foreign publishers, academic publishing, merchandising, audio-visual media and television industries, documentary production, advertising, communication and press agencies, exhibition galleries, etc.

Sales administration

In charge of invoicing and the administrative follow-up of orders, the sales administration team monitors and follows the uses of images. This department is also responsible for market intelligence.
