Holy week
Holy Week. This is the name Christians give to the week before Easter, the holiest day in the Christian calendar. During this week Christians commemorate the last days of Jesus Christ's life: his triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday), his last meal (the Last Supper) on Maundy Thursday and his passion and death on Good Friday. And finally, during the Easter Vigil on the night between Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, the faithful celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.
