Botany
The recent exhibition L'Herbier du Roy (The King's Herbarium) organised by the RMN (Réunion des Musées Nationaux) and the Museum of Natural History testify to the great interest that many people have in botany, "the field where art and science meet". The word botany comes from ancient Greek meaning "concerning herbs or plants". This science is dedicated to the study of all plant species. Many artists, such as Redouté, have tried to make us appreciate the constant changes in our environment.
