Louvre Museum, Rothschild Collection
The Baron Edmond de Rothschild (1845-1934) collection is one of the largest private collections of graphic art in the world. Edmond de Rothschild's heirs donated it to the Louvre Museum on 28 December 1935. It is made up of over 40,000 masterpieces including engravings and drawings, as well as rare books such as those by Finiguerra, Leonardo da Vinci, Mantegna, Dürer, Rembrandt, David, etc.
