Napoléon III Residences
Napoléon III Residences

Residing in the Palais des Tuileries from February 1852, Napoleon III also owned a number of other homes he enjoyed visiting. From organising the famous Séries gatherings with Empress Eugénie at Compiègne and ordering the construction of a theatre at Fontainebleau to being forced into exile at Camden Place after the fall of the Empire, the Emperor left his own unique stamp on each of these residences.
