Eugène Delacroix Museum
The National Eugène Delacroix Museum, in central Paris on rue de Fürstenberg, is a must-see and powerful
place for learning more about Eugène Delacroix (1798-1863). It features the painter’s apartment, his workshop
located in a recently refurbished private garden, objects collected from his diverse travels, paintings, drawings,
prints and letters. The museum’s temporary provide even more opportunities to marvel at Delacroix’s many
talents. Each year, the museum expands its collections through the support of the friends of the museum. In
2004, the Delacroix Museum partnered with the Grand Louvre public institution.
