National Museum of Natural History: Iconographic Basis
The Central Library of the National Museum of Natural History is both a public library and a research library.
Specialising in the field of natural sciences, it contains images produced from the variety of works and
periodicals in its collection and its original iconographic collection. The rich database has more than 25,000
images spanning four topics: Botanica, Zoologica, Museum and the collection of “Museum Vellums” from the
Museum’s Central Library.
