Avignon, musée du Petit Palais
This museum is located in the Petit Palais, the residence of the archbishops of Avignon in the 14th century,
located in the hearth of Avignon’s historic centre. It features paintings and sculptures from the medieval
period and the Renaissance. The Masters of the School of Avignon are highlighted, and the museum has a large
collection of Italian primitives (the second largest collection in France, after the Louvre).
