Ajaccio: Palais Fesch, Museum of Fine Art
The Ajaccio Palais Fesch houses one of the largest collections of Italian paintings in France. In addition to the
significant legacy of Cardinal Joseph Fesch, other donations and bequests have come to this museum, which
was renamed the Palais Fesch - Museum of Fine Art after its renovation and reopening in 2010. Another
feature of this museum is its local heritage, showcasing a collection of Corsican artwork from the 19th and 20th
centuries. The museum also features temporary exhibitions.
