École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts (ENSBA)
École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts (ENSBA)
Heir to a very long history, beginning with Louis XIV’s foundation of the Royal Academies of Painting and
Sculpture in 1648 and Architecture in 1671, the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts houses a modern school and collections accumulated over the course of its 350 years of existence, all under the same roof.
Its rich heritage, bequeathed by the Royal Academies, was further expanded until 1968 with the works of its  students, including the famous Prix de Rome as well as all the instructional models acquired for their training and occasional donations.
