Pau, National Museum of the Château of Pau
The Château de Pau owes its prestige to Henri IV, who was born within its walls in 1553. The collections reflect
the unique popularity and myth that surrounds the “good king”, warrior, politician and tolerant peacemaker.
Many precious items from the 16th to 18th century are featured in the imposing château, the pride of Béarn.
