The Médiathèque de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine is responsible for collecting, studying, inventorying, preserving, and making document resources on architecture and heritage available to the government and to the public.
The collections date back to the birth of France’s Department of Historic Monuments. The media library preserves building-related documents from the date a building is protected as a Historic Monument.
