Biodiversity
Biodiversity

Biodiversity means "every living thing": ecosystem diversity, species diversity, as well as the diversity of individuals within each species. Humans have had an intense impact on the biosphere. They have used living things as essential resources, not only for food and medicine but also for the wide variety of materials they provide. The ability of living organisms to evolve sustainably is also a concern in terms of human survival.
Humans are currently the only conscious species capable of reflecting on the Earth's environment and fashioning it. However, for the past hundred years, man's impact on his environment has had a dramatic negative effect on biodiversity, not only because of his excessive use of the Earth's resources but also as a result , of man's "indirect" destructive attacks (urbanization, pollution, climate change, etc.).
Our scientists have discovered, analyzed and catalogued the riches of our environment; some of these living beings have already disappeared or are endangered. It is up to us to preserve our natural heritage.
