Animal Beauty
Exhibition at the Grand Palais from 21 March 2012 to 16 July 2012.
Many artists have been attracted by the beauty of animals. This fascination resulted in a great number and variety of masterpieces being produced from the Renaissance on: painting, sculptures, photographs and drawings all focusing on animals. The exhibition brings together 120 works of Western art, ranging from famous works to more unusual pieces, from wild animals to domestic pets, and pays homage to animals in all their beauty.
