The First World War in German propaganda
The Bildportal der Kunstmuseen (BPK) is a photo agency that diffuses 12 million images from German museums and photography collections. The Réunion des Musées Nationaux - Grand Palais has acted as its distributor in France since 2004.
Alongside the commemorations of the First World War, this small selection of images is just a sample of the amazing collections of photographs, caricatures, posters and paintings illustrating this dark period of contemporary history.
