La peste de 1630 a décimé la communauté monastique, qui s'est pratiquement éteinte. Le monastère fut supprimé en 1770. Au début du XIXe siècle commença la dévastation des bâtiments de l'ancienne abbaye, qui furent vendus à des particuliers.
